Ceramic epoxy protection
Dura-Coat® ceramic-filled epoxy systems are used where metallic and concrete assets need a hard protective barrier against abrasive slurry, corrosion, acids, alkalis and general plant chemical exposure. Typical pump-related areas include pump cases, impellers, valves, tank linings, pipework, chutes, hoppers and metallic structures.
TFPPS can help match the Dura-Coat® number to the asset condition, media, temperature, surface preparation method and expected return-to-service window. Final selection should be checked against the current datasheet and SDS before use.
Water contact testing
Dura-Coat® Metal 400 and Dura-Coat® Rebuild 101 both have current AS4020:2018 potable water certification testing as conducted by third-party testing with AWQC, a NATA accredited laboratory. Dura-Coat® Metal 400 also has FDA approval for drinking water applications. Certificates can be supplied on request.
